Elena Dawson

Elena Dawson lives and works in der studio in East Sussex. Her de- signs develop during the process of creating and not through sketches. After university she worked as a seamstress in a tailor shop where she found her approach towards creation. Disassembling a piece of garment was where she found its vulnerability that she now uses as her trade mark, leaving her designs somehow unfinished and in a process. All her designs are handmade in England.
