Founded in 1988 Maison Margiela is a pioneer in fashion avant-garde. Asymmetric and deconstructive designs were and still are the key to success, as well as the anonymity of the creatives behind the brand. Margiela is famous for its unfinished looking designs, labels and tags being sewed on the outside and the Tabi boot that is inspired by the japonese toe sock from the 15th century.
